Focus areas
Non-Communicable Diseases
Research on cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer and chronic respiratory illness, including community-based screening for fatty liver disease in rural and urban Vellore.
Infectious Diseases
Strengthening surveillance, vaccination and prevention for the infectious diseases that remain a major burden in low- and middle-income countries.
Maternal, Child & Adolescent Health
Evidence across the continuum of care, from iron supplementation in pregnancy to community-owned prevention of adolescent substance use.
Health Economics (CHEETA)
CMC’s Health Economics and Technology Assessment group: methodological and applied research, and training, to inform resource allocation and policy.
