Dr. Reginald George Alex is a Professor in the Department of Medicine at Christian Medical College, Vellore. He holds an MBBS, DNB, MPH, and a Diploma in Clinical Toxicology, reflecting his broad clinical and public health training.
His research spans a wide range of areas including diabetes management in rural settings, occupational health, emergency medicine, and community health. He has contributed to studies on compliance among diabetic patients in rural mobile clinics, occupational injuries, musculoskeletal disorders among brick kiln workers, and agrochemical hazards among farming communities in southern India.
Dr. Reginald George Alex is also associated with CMC Vellore’s Chittoor Campus, where he contributes to general medicine and community-oriented medical education. His work reflects a strong commitment to primary care, preventive medicine, and the health of underserved and occupational populations in rural South India.
