Dr. Robert C. Block is a cardiologist and physician-scientist affiliated with Strong Memorial Hospital and the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), Rochester, New York. He holds an MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and an MPH, with over 34 years of clinical and research experience in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
His research spans a broad range of cardiovascular and metabolic topics including lipid metabolism, omega-3 fatty acids and cardiovascular risk, heart failure outcomes, pulmonary arterial hypertension, lipoprotein(a), and cardiometabolic risk in pregnancy.
