Dr. Udhaya Kumar

I am Dr. Udhaya Kumar P, MBBS, MD, Assistant Professor of Community Medicine at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, with a growing focus on health economics, health technology assessment, and implementation research in low-resource settings. As a member of CMC’s Health Economics & Technology Assessment (HTA) Group, my work involves evaluating cost-effective and sustainable healthcare interventions, particularly in the field of respiratory non-communicable diseases and rural health systems. I am actively involved in multiple RESPIRE projects addressing pulmonary rehabilitation, healthcare provider capacity building, and the intersection of climate change and respiratory health.
